Remember Me

Jealousy

Remember me in the stories I wrote.
Remember my words from my lips and my voice.
I am sorry for not finishing my chores around the house and yard.
I left them for some one else to do.
The things I left behind and not saying,

"Good-bye".

I am sorry for the tears of sadness in their eyes.
The sunshine is gone from their smile.
The kindness and laughter from their hearts - weeps.
The untold dreams that will never be.

I am sorry for all that I have touched and love dearly.
I miss you,
but I will remember your smile,
that you understood me,
you stood by my side
and you made me laugh,
when I was feeling down.

A rainbow will appear and there you'll see,
the yellow rosebud that has blossom into a beautiful rose.
A wife, a mother and a friend, one hand saying,
"Good-bye"
and one hand reaching out saying,
"Hello".
To question why, it shouldn't be
For then you'll remember me, for whom I am not
Instead of who I was.

As I remember you,
I hope you'll remember my words that I spoke
and remember the words that I wrote.
